Gladiator Durability: Real-World Toughness That Lasts

When We Say Heavy-Duty, We Mean It

At Gladiator Cargo Nets, we don’t just claim durability — we prove it. Our nets are made from heavy-duty, UV-treated polypropylene webbing, a material specifically engineered to withstand tough outdoor conditions. While many cargo nets are marketed as “weather-resistant,” few are built to resist sun damage, water absorption, and harsh chemicals the way ours are.

Why Polypropylene Beats Polyester and Nylon

Unlike polyester and nylon (which absorb water and can degrade over time), polypropylene is naturally water-resistant. Plus, our added UV coating gives it long-lasting protection from sunlight — a must for anyone hauling gear in hot, sunny environments. Whether you're off-roading, camping, or just hauling tile for a home project, your Gladiator net won't let you down.

Real-Life Test: 3 Years in the Back of a Truck

We like to test our own products the hard way. One of our original Gladiator cargo nets has “lived” in the back of a truck for over three years, exposed to sun, rain, and even multiple drive-through car washes. It’s strapped everything from construction materials to camping gear, and it’s still just as strong and reliable as day one.

Recently, we used it to secure a pallet of tile for a home renovation project. The skies opened up just after we finished unloading, but thanks to the tight mesh design and strong came buckles, everything stayed in place.

Built to Withstand the Elements

Every part of a Gladiator Net is built to last, not just the webbing. That includes the integrated mesh, hardware straps, carabiners, and cam buckles. These components are chosen for strength and resilience because we know your gear, time, and safety depend on it.

Ready for Anything. Rain or Shine

We always recommend storing your net when not in use, but if you forget (or just leave it back there for years), we’re confident it’ll still perform. We built it that way.

Here’s to another 3 years — and many more.
